in 2012, ahmet uslu a student from konstfack, university
College of arts, Crafts and design in sweden created a new
line of products for the nachtmann brand - sCulpture. the
complex geometry of the unfinished part of the lead crystal
vase plays with the reflections of light. along with the per-
fection of the finished parts and its brilliant light refraction
they create a modern and extraordinary design. sCulpture
is a modern sculpture as well as a vase or a glass.
in 2012 entwickelte ahmed uslu, student der konstfack, uni-
versity College of arts, Crafts and design in schweden, eine
neue produktlinie für die marke nachtmann - sCulpture.
das konzept von sCulpture beruht auf dem spiel mit dem
unvollendeten. die komplexe geometrie der rauen, unbe-
arbeiteten oberfläche der kristallvasen reflektiert das licht
auf raffinierte weise. im zusammenwirken mit der perfektion
des glatten, vollendeten teils und seiner brillanten lichtbre-
chung entsteht so ein modernes und außergewöhnliches
design. sCulpture ist nicht nur eine vase oder ein glas:
es ist gleichzeitig eine moderne skulptur.
